RETAS is now officially a UK online centre!
For anyone who wants to know more about computers, to learn about email and internet basics, we are running the Go-on course. There are a number of modules to choose from which you can start and come back to at any time – from looking at How to Create an email to How to make your internet safe.
RETAS is also giving a £10 Morrisons voucher to anyone who completes 2 modules of the course, please contact chris@retasleeds.org.uk for more details.
Simply follow the instructions below to get started:
1. First register on the GO ON website, click here to create an account.
2. Enter your First Name, Surname, Email address or mobile phone number, create a password and enter the centre code which is 3453473.
3. When you have entered all the details needed, click on the Create New Account button at the bottom of the page.
If you entered a mobile number, a verification code will be sent to your phone which then has to be entered on the web site to complete the registration process. If you entered an email address, an email will be sent automatically to that address, and in that email will be a link which you have to click on to activate the account.
You need to complete 2 of 4 units from the Online Basics section to get your voucher: Using email, Using the Internet Safely, Using Online Searches, Online Services.
4. To start, click on Online Basics.
