We recommend that all refugee health professionals contact ROSE. An NHS programme helping health professionals to requalify.

RETAS can support refugee doctors with requalification:

  • Monthly PLAB study group, with guest teachers.
  • The IELTS course
  • Information, Advice and Guidance about requalification
  • Help finding clinical attachments and work placements.

    Refugee Teachers

    RETAS works with Refugees into Teaching and Education Leeds to help refugee teachers build experience and skills.

    RETAS supports teachers in the following ways:

  • Finding work placements in schools across West Yorkshire
  • The IELTS course
  • Information, Advice and Guidance about requalifying as a teacher
